In the Community

We got our start doing pop-ups at community events all over San Diego County and evolved into a storefront incubation space.

Doing What We Love

Our impact on the surrounding community is palpable in the connections we have made with every person who has come through our doors. We are continuing to do good through the COVID-19 pandemic and help those who have even less than we do. We'll be launching new partnerships with other Black-owned business and new content that will educate, enlighten and empower.

Impacting Our Community

We feature and host book clubs, headwrap and coffee meetups, the Southeast Art Team outfitted our shop, Black owned florist of Terrell Rackley Florals and Gifts provides flowers for sale, we hosted game night for the culture, political fundraisers, birthdays, curated coffee care packages complete with uplifting messages during the height of the COVID 19 pandemic, and we have an internship program that helps develop young leaders.

Inspiring Others

The gatherings we've hosted, the artists we've connected with and display their art on a regular basis, the youth we've hosted as interns in our shop for experience and pay, the laughter we collectively create with passerbys and regulars - we are doing the work and loving it. Our goal is to make sure our community has space to show up fully.
